The South Dakota Region 2 Project ENRICH Advisory Board was established to enhance the quality of the project and to advance the connection between community agencies and the program. The advisory board is comprised of various professionals, educators, and administrators who represent a diverse group of special education agencies and organizations as well as area school districts. As regional coordinators of the project, ESA 2 identified appropriate potential board members. These professionals who have significant experiences, education, and skills in their particular specialty are asked to serve through the duration of the grant. The ENRICH Advisory Board meets quarterly during the academic year. Minutes of the advisory board meeting are recorded and will be made available via this webpage.

The ENRICH Program Advisory Board objectives are to:

· Provide guidance with program planning, development and implementation.

· Provide recommendations pertaining to enhancing program effectiveness and overall program quality.

· Suggest strategies to create effective training opportunities professionals and paraprofessionals in the field.

· Assist in the development of educational strategies designed to deal with changes or emerging trends in the delivery and nature of special education services. · Help identify the special education needs of the communities within ESA region 2.
