Grants
The Title IID Assessment and Technology Grant is a comprehensive professional development plan which supports initiatives that enable educators to integrate technology effectively into curriculum and instruction. Any K-12 instructor within ESA Region 2 may apply to participate in this grant. Grant participants will select a state standard which poses an opportunity for improvement and use technology and formative assessment in their lesson plans in an attempt to increase student achievement in that standard. Participants will attend three or more technology training sessions as well as work one on one with a cognitive coach and technology integration specialist throughout the 2007-2008 school year to accomplish this goal.Learn more about Assessment and Technology
South Dakota Counts is a focused statewide professional development program designed to build broad-based expertise and leadership for improving elementary mathematics instruction. South Dakota Counts will leave the statewide educational community with a cadre of very skilled professionals to serve as resources and trainers in the ongoing effort to improve elementary mathematics instruction.
