Transition AdvantageEducational Programs

East Dakota Educational Cooperative's High Impact Program is designed to meet the needs of area youth whose behavior has created a need for an alternative placement. The High Impact program, with a staff-to-student ratio that is higher than most public schools, provides greater opportunities for trained staff to teach and model appropriate school¬based behaviors. In addition to assisting students in focusing on problem solving, goal setting and positive social skills, certified academic staff teach a core curriculum and a variety of electives. Ultimately, the goal of the High Impact program is to prepare each student for a more successful experience when they return to their home school and community.
